Level Designer Level design is the construction of world levels and its features. Level design makes use of many different fields to create a game world. Lighting, space, framing, colour, and contrast are used to draw a player's attention. A designer can then use these elements to guide or direct the player in a specific direction through the game world or mislead them. Level design, like the larger task of game development, is a collaborative process that integrates art assets, script elements, character interaction, and environment layout to create an exciting player experience. The job of the level designer is not simply to conceive of an idea for a level but to take that idea and fully realise it in the 3D environment.
